- Just Like That (JLT) (Benn Gunn)
We developed, and performed, a core repertoire of blues standards and our own compositions and were invited to do a BBC (Edinburgh) recording session (lost) and came a very close second to “Cafe Jacque” in the Scottish “Melody Maker” band competition.
PolyGram suggested, subject to a satisfactory demo recording at REL (Radio Edinburgh Limited ) studios, that there was ‘potential’ and underwrote the studio time. However this came at a time when we had already had began to split and Dave (our drummer) had decided to leave and go to college.
The REL studio session went ahead and we recorded 3 numbers “Bye The Bye”, “JLT” and “To Be Seen With You” with Dave Swanson on Drums.
2018 – Cluny Recording Studio, Newcastle

Studio Engineer : Tony Davis – Newcastle
In 2016, we agreed to reform, primarily to rehearse and record.
There was, and is, a raft of original material to explore. Sadly Brian (bass) was not able to join us. Our first week was spent at the Cottage Music Studio in Inveraray (Loch Fyne), Scotland as a trio. We then went to Cluny Studios in Newcastle. A real fun day – recorded one old and one new..
- Young And Schoolin’ (Benn Gunn)
- All U’re Lovin’ (Lawson)
